Club Volunteers Sought to Serve as Points-of-Contact
The Lion’s Alert program provides a framework for clubs to prepare for emergencies affecting their communities. Lions of 37S are being asked to participate by assisting partners who will feed disaster victims. To accomplish that, clubs are asked to designate a point of contact for the 37S Alert Team. MD37 LEADERSHIP INSTITUTE FOR LIONS LEADERS
The Lions Leadership Institute focus on building the skills of Lions leaders to prepare them for leadership responsibility at club, zone, district, and regional levels. Time to RALLY!
Rally Montana 2012 will be held in Bozeman at the Holiday Inn, February 24-26. The event kicks off Friday with a game of Trivial Pursuit focusing on Montana and Lions. PID in Bronze
Inscription: “Gary Tschache – Heart of a Lion”
Sunday December 18th, 2011, marked the unveiling of the PID Gary Tschache memorial at Kagy Korner in Bozeman. The many Lions in attendance appreciated the warm sunny day and the fellowship of those who knew and appreciated Gary’s accomplishments for Bozeman, Multiple District 37, and the world. Thanks to the many clubs and individual contributors toward this testimony to a great Lion!

Cabinet Meeting and Tschache Unveiling Scheduled
January 21 has been scheduled as the next 37S Cabinet meeting in Big Timber. Details for time and location will be sent soon! UPDATE: See Coming Events for corrected Schedule.
The tribute for PID Gary Tschace will unveiled in a short ceremony on Sunday December 18th at noon. The statue will be covered from public view until that time. It is located on the grounds of the Tschache business, Kagy Korners in Bozeman. The tribute is a moving reminder of the efforts and love that PID Gary had for Lions so plan on attending if you can!

A Message From Our International President
Dear Lion,
A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of attending a ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya, where more than 2,000 trees were planted by Lions and representatives of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN). These trees are just the beginning of a new partnership between Lions and the AKDN that will result in the planting of at least one million trees in Kenya by December 2012. Think of it — our entire worldwide goal for tree planting equaled in one nation alone!
